Again, we could have another new game night. Currently we are playing RuneScape on Mondays, but that could be switched with a game called Mabinogi. A lot of members are playing Mabinogi and a lot of people seem to like it, so we'll see what happens.

A new tag has been created for Trainees who wish to join us as full members. They will have to prove that they are deserving of the {SS} tag by being active with us and earning clan achievements. They will be able to become full members after they have completed their BCT (Basic Training Camp) and have ranked up to Private. The new tag for trainees will be {SS-T}.

I will be planning a new game event next week so keep checking up on the forums. If you are able to make it to the event please get in touch as I would like to keep track of how many members are interested in taking part! Also if you have an idea for a competition or event, get in touch with me by sending me a message on Xfire (t3marii) or via PM on the clan website.

Game nights have been rescheduled to 7pm - 9pm EDT until further notice. As it is summer we respect that most of you are likely to be more busy out and having fun, and we hope that the new times will mean that you can still get on every now and then and join us for an enjoyable evening!

Last week a tournament for DMO (Duel Monsters Online) was announced and was meant to take place on Friday evening. Due to a lack of participating members it will now be rescheduled to a date this week or next, following a poll where members can decide on the best day to have it.

Good afternoon fellow {SS} members!

Once again it's almost the weekend and that time of the week when most of you kick back for some gaming and other recreational activities. For those of you who are, have fun! And for those of you who are busy preparing for final exams, good luck!

Sadly after the sudden influx of members two weeks ago, there have not been any new faces on ventrilo or on the forums. Soul Society is forever looking for potential members who are in need of a friendly clan to hang out with for both gaming and social purposes. We would like to ask you to keep a lookout for people who might be interested in joining us, so if you know a friend, or even a friend of a friend who might be interested in being a member, tell them about us. ;)

Greetings {SS} members, hope you're all enjoying the weekend!

We've had a couple of new members recently so I'd like to say a big warm welcome to both DurionJarno and The Hacker! Hope you enjoy your time here with {SS}.

In relation to game nights, sadly we have had to remove Dekaron Game Night from the calendar as recently the server has been unstable. This may or may not be temporary. But we would like to acknowledge Xavior and Kuzonagi for their ever constant efforts in making this game enjoyable for the whole clan :) Thanks guys!

An event for Urban Terror has been scheduled for next friday (13th May). This will be a 2v2 competition. For more information please check the post on the forums "{SS} Urban Terror Tournament" in the Announcements section.

As we have not made an update to the Blog recently I would like to share what has recently been happening within the clan.

And finally, please take note of the recent changes that have been made to game night times. A lot of people have been confused about the start time of game nights and I would like to make it clear that currently Dekaron game night (Wednesday) and Killing Floor game night (Friday) will both begin at 6pm EST and finish at 8pm EST. Halo:Reach game night (Thursday) will begin at 7pm EST and finish at 9pm EST.

As it is Friday, Killing Floor will be taking place at 6pm EST. If you're up for some zombie fun get on Ventrilo and join us!

During this past weekend, Nightmare and I have been working on a lot of editing to the website itself, and improving the rank system. After countless hours of work we got these things done

Groups on the website. This includes the {SS}Roster where people were located under for groups of games: Mabinogi, UrT, World of Warcraft, etc. There were also annoying buttons that also went along with these options; they're gone now too.

Ranks is what we spent the most time on now. We pdated the point system such as "how many points needed to rank up to the next rank" and added an advanced rank system. *The pictures belong to Microsoft, Halo 3.* With the ranks we added categories: Training Camp- Vouching period, Enlisted, Non-Commissioned Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, Junior Officers, Senior Officers, and General Officers. For example, (Commander, Colonel, Brigadier), all fall under the Senior Officers. Aside from the website, the same ranks were added on to Ventrilo, which can be seen by right clicking, server admin, and rank list.

Forums on the website. Threads that were in the main chat started to add up and looked like a spam chat, so threads we're moved to places such as Adjunct Office and Tech support that had to deal with the topic threads.

Official Games thread was also changed! These games were rushed and not thoroughly decided well. To improve this I will be searching for a game with great criteria that fits the goal; then add it to our official list. The game list as it is now called shows all the games we've played as a clan and ones we currently do!

Achievements... there are none! :P. Although we will be releasing achievements, about 4-5 a month as planned before; totalling up to 100 points. Expect to see some Achievements the end of this month!

Random News: Remember the Signature Contest is still running! This can be found under Competition of the Month, COTM. The winner will have their signature stuck ont he front page and will get the achievement for 100 points. Events will also be added too! They were'nt added due to my recent laziness. Lets also say bye to our great HC Sound! He was doing good for awhile, but reality caught up to him and hit him pretty hard. Thanks for all the hard work you've ever done for us!

This by far is one of the biggest updates! {SS}SoulSociety Clan will now have an updated blog to share quick updates or information with members. Within this past week {SS}Dkadar has added a cool new profile feature. New under the members list is a roster that keeps tracks of our members that have a Xbox 360 gamer-card or a PlayStation 3 Network ID. To edit yours, simply go to Settings>Personal Info> Xbox 360 user name or PlayStation 3 ID. Remember to thank DK the next time you see him!

In other news, we are going to be a little withdrawn from our competition in Urban Terror. This game itself was good, yet the community was very unfriendly and gave us too much drama. We will still be having our regular game nights on Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM EST. There will also be a new game night coming our way! Everyone make room for Dead Frontier on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM. Anyone who's going to participate will be adventuring out far for loots and get done a few quests.

The {SS}SoulSociety High Command, (HC), will also be playing a more active role in the clan. Each member now has a particular job to benefit the clan which can be found here . During this weeks meeting the HC discussed and voted on what should be done with Urban Terror particularly, but also Acts. Acts are different from rules as they are more supreme things to be followed by.

Remember if you have any ideas for achievements to submit them!
